Terms and Conditions:
- The “Competition” means the Harcourts Riverlands and Rivertown Electrical Christmas Lights Competition
- The “Promoter/Sponsor” means Harcourts Riverlands and Rivertown Electrical.
- Entrants into the 2024 Harcourts Riverlands and Rivertown Electrical Christmas Lights Competition will be deemed as having read the full terms and conditions before entry and as having accepted these terms and conditions.
- Entrants are only able to enter their property once.
- Staff of Harcourts Riverlands and Rivertown Electrical are not permitted to enter.
- The Competition Entry Period commences at 9am Friday 29th of November 2024 and entries must be received by the closing date, Wednesday 11th of December at 11.59pm. No entries will be accepted after the close date. The decision of the Promoter to accept and reject an entry is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
- The Competition Voting Period will commence on Friday 13th of December from 9am and close on the Sunday 22nd of December at 11.59pm. Winners will be announced on social media and contacted via email or phone on the 23rd of December.
- Entry into The Competition is free and only available to residents within Huntly and Te Kauwhata townships.
- Entry forms are available online at www.harcourtsriverlands.co.nz/christmas-lights-competition and at the Harcourts Riverlands Huntly and Te Kauwhata Offices.
- All entrants agree to allow the Promoter and its contractors or agents to publicise the address at which the entrants’ Christmas Lights will be displayed in media, including flyers and promotional material. Publication of these address details will only be for the purpose of promoting the Competition and no other personal information of entrants will be published.
- All entrants agree to allow the Promoter and its contractors or agents to publicise photos, sound recordings and video recordings of their display in media, including flyers and promotional material and that the Promoter is not required to pay a fee for this use/purpose.
- All Entrants will be required to have a 40x30cm lawn sign on their property with a QR code. This QR code will take the voter to a voting page on the Harcourts Riverlands website where their address will be displayed amongst all other entries.
- The Competition categories and prizes are:
(a) Huntly Public Vote - $500 Prezzy Card
(b) Te Kauwhata Public Vote - $500 Prezzy Card
(c) Huntly Runner Up Public Vote - $250 Prezzy Card
(d) Te Kauwhata Runner Up Public Vote - $250 Prezzy Card
(e) Harcourts Riverlands Staff Pick - $100 Prezzy Card
(f) Rivertown Electrical Staff Pick - $100 Prezzy Card
(g) Huntly Voter Lucky Dip - $50 Prezzy Card
(h) Te Kauwhata Voter Lucky Dip - $50 Prezzy Card
- To be eligible for the Huntly Voter Lucky Dip Prize, the voter must be able to pick up the prize from the Harcourts Riverlands office at 80 Main Street, Huntly.
- To be eligible for the Te Kauwhata Voter Lucky Dip Prize, the voter must be able to pick up the prize from the Harcourts Riverlands office at 11 Main Road, Te Kauwhata.
- In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct, results, and all other matters relating to The Competition, the decision of the public voters shall be final, and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
- The Promoter/Sponsor accepts no responsibility for damage, injury, or theft which may occur as a result of your entry into this competition.
- The Competition is designed to encourage community participation and the spirit of giving and sharing. Entrants agree to enter the competition in the spirit in which it was intended and act accordingly.
- Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions of Entry may lead to immediate disqualification of an entry and withdrawal of prizes.
